- Early in the morning on April 23, 2023, Carolyn Hisoire Clements, “Neena,” took her heavenly flight to be forever with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Jack Clements, “Papaw.” She was preceded in death by her former husband, Robert Hisoire, “Pe-Pe” and her eldest son, William Emory Clements-Hisoire.
Carolyn is also survived by her son, Randy Clements (Colleen), his two step-daughters, Madison Rambeau and children, Gage, Layla & Lino, and Samantha Rambeau (Chase Fincher); Will’s wife, Pamela Clements-Hisoire and their family, Danielle (Wayland) Jarrett and children, Alyssa, Makenna, Harlie, and Jack William, Catherine (Clifton) Frazier and daughter, Emory Grace, John Clements-Hisoire, and Mattie Clements-Hisoire.
Carolyn was a native to Florida and also spent several years with her son, Will and his family in Kentucky. Her sons, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her world! Strong-willed, stubborn, and at times ornery as can be but would give you the shirt off her back!! Carolyn was previously a Registered Nurse, a master gardener, and currently an active member of the congregation at The Church in Welaka, FL, using her gift of sign language during praise and worship.
Carolyn struggled with health issues off and on for many years but always managed to push on, with the help of the Lord and especially when family and friends were there to visit. We loved her deeply and she will be missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Welaka, P.O. Box 69, Welaka, FL 32193.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Masters Funeral Home in Palatka with Pastor Dan Holland officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the start of the service. For those that cannot attend, the service will be livestreamed and may be viewed at www.vimeo.com/mastersfuneralhome.
