- Funeral services for Johnny Casey Jones, 64, who died Monday, December 25, 2006, will be held Friday at 11:00 AM in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206 with Rev. Lamar Lee officiating.
Interment in Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery in Folkston, Georgia , where a graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday.
The family will receive friends Thursday (Tonight) from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Jones was a native of Brantley County, Georgia and a longtime resident of Jacksonville, Florida. He loved to fish and did so when ever he had a chance to.
Survivors include his wife of many years, Kitty Jones; 3 sons, Randy Casey Jones (Jennifer), John Evans and Tom Evans; 4 daughters, Sherlene Jones Geiger (Robbie), Deborah Padgett, Tina Brown and Sonia Cothran; 3 brothers, Delaner Robinson (Ceil), David Jones and Danny Jones. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
