WINNSBORO - Services for Floyd Wilkes Rhymer, 50, will be held at 3 p.m. today, October 3, 1999, at the Stephen Greene Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Taylor Wells and Rev. James P. Blackwelder. Burial will follow in Stephen Greene Memorial Garden. Pope Funeral Home is in charge.
Mr. Rhymer died Friday, October 1, 1999. Born in Winnsboro, July 26, 1949, he was a son of William E. Rhymer Sr. and Lillian Wilkes Rhymer. He was a retired steam fitter, a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and graduate of Winnsboro High School.
Surviving are his parents, William E. and Lillian Wilkes Rhymer of Winnsboro; daughter, Katrina Nicole Rhymer of Houston, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, William E. Rhymer Jr. and Shirley Bennett Rhymer, both of Greenville; nephews, Scott Rhymer and Michael Rhymer; nieces, Lacey Rhymer; grand-niece, Taylor Rhymer.
