Daphne Faircloth, 80, of Newport, died Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Vidant Inpatient Hospice in Greenville.
Her memorial is at 2 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mike Frese officiating.
She is survived by a daughter, Cathy Hairr and husband Ron of Raleigh; son, Doug Faircloth and wife Kim of Morehead City; two sisters, Eunice Colclough of Goldsboro and Nita Boyette of Kinston; brother, Rudolph Lewis and wife Sue of Goldsboro: six grandchildren, Andy Ipock and wife Aubrey, Ashley Turner and husband Shane, Adrianna Brookins and Ryan Justice, Jeremy Stokes and wife Carol, Tyler Collins and Joshua Keeter; and 10 great-grandchildren, Gracie, Drew, Tana, Brandon, Adrianna, Jordan, Haleigh, Jaxon, Devyn and Ayden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Faircloth; son, Wade Faircloth Jr.; daughter, Wanda; and parents, Bert and Thelma Lewis.
Visitation will follow the service at the church.
