Graveside services for Ms. Birdie Wilkes, age 77, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Fairfield Baptist Church Cemetery, 3987 State Highway 213 Winnsboro, SC 29180. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the graveside.
Ms. Wilkes passed away on Monday, November 11, 2013. Born in Kershaw County, she was the daughter of the late Adam Harrison and Ruth Anderson Broome. She is survived by three children; Arthur Ray Wilkes of Winnsboro, Shirley Odom of Lugoff, and Wanda Lampert of Lugoff; one brother, William Harrison Broome of Langley, SC; one sister, Frances Timms of Winnsboro; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Ms. Wilkes will be missed by all who knew her.
