    Died:
    Earl Hodges, age 82, died Wednesday, February 9, 2011, in the Altamaha Convalescent Center in Jesup following an extended illness. The Pierce County native lived in Savannah for most of his life until moving to Jesup several years ago. Mr. Hodges retired from Union Camp Corporation after 43 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith.

    Mr. Hodges was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Tice Hodges.

    Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Sharon Hodges of Statesboro and Tom and Marcia Hodges of Savannah; a daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Robert Willis of Jesup; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

    The graveside service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park in Savannah.
