Alvin Lamar "Al" Carter, 61, Lithia died June 7, 2009 after a courageous battle against
cancer.

Al was a Vietnam veteran.

Al is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy, two daughters Brandi (John) and Carin (Philip), and four grandchildren P.J., Shawn, Alexis "Ali" and Annette.

Visitation will be held at Hopewell Funeral Home on June 10, 2009 from 10:00 to 11:00 am with services immediately following.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made in his name to Life Path Hospice or the Hope Lodge (American Cancer Society).
