Virginia Caison “Ginger” Cottle, age 49 of Leland passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at her home.
Ginger was born on July 23, 1971. She was the widow of Thomas Matthew Cottle who passed away on November 27, 2018.
Ginger was a member of Wrightsboro Baptist Church. She was formerly a professional Watch and Jewelry repairperson at Reeds Jewelers. She enjoyed traveling, especially cruising, loved arts and crafts, photography, and spending time with her family and especially with children.
Ginger is survived by her son, Zachery Cottle and his partner, Jeremy; her parents, Robert Joseph Caison and Dale Price Caison; sister, Penny Caison; special childhood friend Melissa Gainey Beck; and other extended family members.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be at 3 pm Saturday, December 5, 2020, at Wilmington Funeral Chapel led by Rev. Mike Lewis.

LELAND - Dale Price Caison, age 72 of Leland passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Dale was born in Lumberton, NC on August 26, 1949 to Grover Price and Cora Lee Britt Price.
Dale was a devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She was retired from Corning with over 20 years of service.
Dale is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Robert Joseph Caison; daughters, Penny Caison and Melissa Beck; grandson, Zachery Cottle and Jeremy Flaherty; 2 sisters, Patricia Harrelson and Teresa Britt; 2 brothers, Eddie Price and Kenny Price, many nieces and nephews and extended family members. Remembered is her daughter, Virginia “Ginger” Cottle who passed away December 2, 2020 and her parents, Grover and Cora Lee Price; brother, Willie Price and 2 sisters, Kathy Warwick and Mary Batten.
Memorial service is planned for 2 pm Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Wilmington Funeral Chapel.
