Mrs. Lillie Mae "Tence" Sessoms, 84, of 8190 Beaver Dam Road in Autryville, died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, in her home.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, in Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with Pastor David Hodge and Dr. Phil Spears officiating.
Burial will follow in Lonie Carter Cemetery in Autryville.
Mrs. Sessoms was born Sept. 21, 1927, in Sampson County, to the late Perry Thomas and Lydia Irene Davis Simmons.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Troy Calton "T.C." Sessoms; and two sons, Ronald Keith Sessoms and David Wayne Sessoms.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Bonnie Miranda and husband Marcos of Wilmington, Debbie Sessoms of Autryville, and Lisa Bunce and husband Jeffrey of Autryville; two sons, Tommy Sessoms and wife Vivian of Wade, and Joseph "Joe" Sessoms and wife Glenda of Stedman; 11 grandchildren, Teri Thomson, Amy Jordan, McCrea Jordan, Michele Hughes, Michael Sessoms, Casey Brisson, Ashley Brisson, Lauren Bunce, Austin Sessoms, Jesse Bunce and Chase Bunce; and five great-grandchildren, Brittany Sessoms, Alicia Sessoms, Samantha Hughes, Sara Hughes and Logan Brisson.
The family will receive friends today, Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman, and other times at the home.
