    Claude E. Hale, age 88, of Raleigh, passed away Saturday, June 28.

    Born in Seneca, S.C., he was the son of Claude, Sr. and Pearl Cox Hale. He served in the Navy in World War II.

    Surviving, his wife, Catherine (Kitty) Hale; son, Mike and wife, Cindy; and four granddaughters; Shannon, Robin, Nikki and husband, Tim; and Kristi.

    Funeral services will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, 4815 Six Forks Rd., Wednesday, July 2 at 11 a.m., with a visitation starting 10 a.m.

    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Trinity Baptist Church Building Fund.

    Arrangements: Cremation Society of NC, Raleigh.
