    Deceased Name: Ebert Lee Robbins

    WINNABOW - Ebert Lee Robbins, of Winnabow, NC, died at his residence Tuesday, October 8, 2002.

    He was born in Brunswick County on August 9, 1931, to Dexter and Ella Robbins. He was retired from the North Carolina Department of Transportation and Ward Technical Sales. He was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church for more than 40 years.

    He is survived by his wife Rillie; daughter Debby Young and husband Larry of Sunset Harbor; son, Dean Robbins and wife Doris of Carolina Beach; daughter Deddy King and husband Billy of Bolivia. He had seven very special people in his life; five grandchildren, Neal Young, Leigh Robbins, Eryn Robbins, Tony King and Jake King; two great-grandchildren, Skylar Young and Logan Young. Ebert was survived by five brothers, his twin Elbert, Dosher, Dexter Jr., Donald Ray, David Earl and four sisters, Addie Mae Gore, Mary Huffman, Elois Crisco, and Julia Morris. He is survived by a special Aunt, Hazel Hinson of Elizabethtown.

    Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 10, 2002 at 2:00 p.m., at Lebanon Baptist Church, Winnabow, NC with four very special Pastors of Ebert & his family, Rev. Mark Rogers, Rev. Dan Bennett, Rev. Kenneth Benton and Rev. Bill Greer conducting the church and graveside services.

    Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

    Pallbearers will be Keith and Gary Robbins, Davie Thrift, Lee Frazier, Rod Ashley and Edsel Hickman.

    Honorary pallbearers will be Leonard Ward, Porky Willetts, Shelton Smith, Robert Willetts, James Hayes, Wesley Caison, Robert Cox, Jack Edgerton, Eudell Rich, Rotha Hickman, David Coulter, Russell, Cook, Jackie Cook and Heber Robbins.

    Ebert was so special to his family and the family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to the many friends who have sympathized with us during his brief illness and sudden death.

    W. Wayne Caison Sr., 72, of Rt. 1, Winnabow, died Wednesday evening in Dosher Memorial Hospital at Southport following an extended illness.

    He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Martha Willetts Caison of the home; a son, M-Sgt. Wesley W. Caison Jr. of the U S. Air Force at Paris, France; four daughters, Mrs. Marie Landress of Orlando, Fla., Mrs. Rillie J. Robbins of Winnabow, and Miss Joyce Caison and Miss Mary Caison of the home, seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dan Caison of Winnabow.

    A native of Columbus County. he was the son of the late Sam and Frances Reynolds Caison and a member of Lebanon Baptist Church.

    Funeral arrangements will he announced by Coble's Oleander Chapel.
